The competition is open to all artists resident in Oman of the age of 15 or above.

The competition is open to professional as well as amateur photographers.

Competition entries must be relevant to the set monthly theme. Entries irrelevant to the theme will be considered void.

Artists may submit 1 entry photo only into the competition each month. Multiple entries or more than one photo will null all submitted photos.

All artwork submitted to MuscArt must be the original idea and creation of the credited artist.

Post-editing may be permissible but should be kept at a minimum. Editing will be judged strictly at the judges’ discretions.

Artwork may not include the artist’s name, signatures, watermarks or borders.

Photos may not be submitted in Panorama.

Artwork must be submitted in high resolution as RGB (not CMYK) in JPG format (minimum 5 Megapixel). Everything under the stated resolution or in a different format will be considered void.

Photos may not be offensive or depict explicit content such as nudity, pornography, graphic violence, or hatred towards a specific group of people or other living beings.

All entrants grant MuscArt the right to reproduce work on the MuscArt website and in materials used to promote the gallery and/or future related promotions.

All entries must be received by the final deadline date. No extensions will be given.

The names, age, artwork and photos of the artist (but no other personal information) will be disclosed on the MuscArt’s social media websites.

Winners will be chosen at the judges’ discretion. Final choices lie strictly with the three appointed judges.

Winners will be contacted via email.

Winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd entries will be exhibited at MuscArt gallery and will be retained in MuscArt’s archives thereafter.
